Our season

Hi, Jenny.
Japan is summer. It's hot and humid.
I feeled the cycle of the seasons when we did a swap some box.
Spring is April in Japan. But spring is September in Australia.
Japanese people and nature has feeling season opposite in Australia.
But, time is same.

I'm thinking my works about time and space one's daily life.

I'd like to execute about time and space Japan/Australia.

This photo is interesting. How was the location? Movie installation?

Sorry for my late reply

Hello Yuno,

Your Cherry Blossoms remind me of our Jacaranda trees that usually flower in September, our spring. They are my favourite flowers and always remind me of my childhood. I often photograph them using infared, this makes them look white, like your cherry blossoms. When the flowers fall we have purple carpets all over the ground in Brisbane.

Have you decided on which art work you will be responding to?

I'm going on holidays Sunday night for a week...till the 17th July, so will have no access to a computer. Once again sorry for the delay in reply, things have been very hectic at home. I have twin sons that have just turned 21, which is big in Australia. They are still to have their party as they have been working hard at uni. The celebrations have been organised for the 21st July.

Thank you again for your beautiful gift.
Look forward to meeting you.
Jenny.
